1930-2021
Sula L Gann, age 90, of Panama City, Florida, passed away on January 18, 2021.
She was born to James Riley and Mary Mollie Homer on March 31st, 1930 in Hamilton, AL.
She will always be remembered as Mama Gann by all her family and friends. She will also be remembered
as a pastor's wife for over 45 years, Sunday school teacher, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker, awesome cook, counselor, peace maker, prayer warrior, faithful Christ follower, disciplined studier of God’s word. If you can name the fruits of the Spirit, she was the epitome of every single one.
Sula is preceded in death by her parents, husband Rev Milton R Gann, brother, James B. Homer, daughter-in-law Cindy Gann and son-in-law Troy Davidson. She is survived by her children, Gary (Paula) Gann, Phillip (Kim) Gann, Calvin (Debbie) Gann and Nina Davidson. Grandchildren, Amy (Matt) Henderson, Erik (Amanda) Gann, Cory (Savannah) Gann, Christina Gann, Clete Thomas, Cayla (Ryan) Anderson, Alex Gann, Anslee Davidson and Collin Davidson and numerous great grandchildren.
The graveside service will be held on January 23 at 11:00 AM at the Poplar Log Free Will Baptist Church, 665 County Rd 49, Hamilton, AL 35570 with Rev. Van Dale Hudson officiating. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service.
Due to Covid-19 the family requests that masks and/or social distancing be observed.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make donations to Hiland Park Baptist Church Missions Fund.
