THELMA INEZ HOLLAND

Thelma Inez Holland, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away January 29, 2019, in Montgomery, AL at the age of 96. Thelma was born in Headland AL, and lived in Bay County since 1966. An Assembly of God Minister's wife, she and her late husband Rev. B. F. Holland pastored area churches until his death in 1989. During their marriage, they built and pastored Bayou George Assembly of God and founded and built Calvary Temple Full Gospel Church, which became Calvary Temple Assembly. Thelma enjoyed fishing, singing and playing her accordion, and praying for her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, a son, Charles Edward Holland, a granddaughter, Hannah Holland, her parents, 3 sisters and a brother.

Survivors include her children, Larry G. Holland of Prattville, AL, Johnny W. Holland of Douglas, GA, Mark O. Holland (Donna), and Paul F. Holland (Marie) all of Panama City; a daughter-in-law, Doris Holland of Panama City; her grandchildren, Larry Holland, Jr., Melanie Holland Crowell, Greg Holland, Susanne Meeks, Kaitlyn Holland, Patrick Holland, Benjamin Holland, John Holland, Ryan Holland, Matthew Holland and Jordan Holland Barnes; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 4, 2019, the Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church 8106 Highway 2301, with Rev. Derrick Glass officiating. Interment will follow at Lynn Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00.
