Thomas Henry Dennis

Thomas Henry Dennis, 76, of Callaway, went to meet his wife in heaven Friday, April16, 2021.  Mr. Dennis was born the son of Richard B. and Thelma Dennis on January 22, 1945 in West Palm Beach, Florida.  He was many things, but among them he thoroughly enjoyed his long career as a machinist for first our Navy Base; and then many years for our city’s paper mill (RockTenn). He was a faithful member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Cedar Grove.  Mr. Dennis was proceeded in death by the love of his life, Deborah Dennis; by his parents, by his brother Richard Dennis, and by his sister Gail Stubbs.

He is survived by his sister Barbara Torsleff; his son Thomas N. Dennis and his wife, Michele of Youngstown, Florida; daughter Rachel A. Dennis and her fiancé, Joe Escamilla of San Antonio, Texas; and daughter BethAnn Dennis and her love, Marty Pitts of Deerpoint, Florida. He considered all of us his kids.  Also grieving are grandchildren Tyler, Meagan, Caitlyn, Marissa, Brianna, Harley, Mason, Carrington, Jessie, Sunny, Adrian, Kristin, Spencer; as well as great grandchildren Acestin, Camryn, Madisyn, and Chance; and many loving extended family members.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday April 24, 2021 at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home.  Family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the services. Interment will be follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
