MSGT, Thomas L. Larson, USAF, Ret, age 82 of Panama City, passed away Saturday August 11 2O18 at Covenant Care Hospice. Thomas was born April 26, 1936 in Madelia, MN of Viking heritage to Irvin and Leona (Bursaw) Larson. Thomas served 20 years in the United States Ain Force and traveled the world before retiring. He was a member of Callaway AMVET Post #2298. He was united in marriage on January 16, 1965 in Sumter, SC to his wife, Helen, who preceded him in death in 2O15. AIso preceded by his daughter Cheryl Detroy of Youngstown, and brother Jerry Larson. Thomas is survived by his children Thomas J. (Lianne) Larson of Panama City, Michael (Karen) Larson of Elmore, AL, William (Maria) Whitas of Wesley Chapel, FI, Ronald (Roni) Whitas of Panama City; his grandchildren Ian Larson, Eric Camp, Amy (Stephen) Smith and his great grandchildren Donovan Camp, Seth Smith, Danyel' Smith, Cierra Camp, Payton Camp; brother Steve (Charlene) Larson of Mesa, Az, half-sister Brenda Larson Kelly, and half-Brother Jim Larson. He played basketball and football in school. He volunteered as a little league coach, and enjoyed playing softball, hunting, bowling, golf, and horseshoes. A private family ceremony will be he1d, where Thomas's urn will be placed in the Forest Lawn Cemetery Family Niche.
