Willa June Cassels-Foster

Willa June Cassels Foster, 85 of Panama City, passed away May 5, 2018 at Covenant Care Hospice. June was born June 19, 1932 in Anniston, AL to Herman and Willie Mae (Anderson) Cassels and moved to Panama City in 1973. June was a member of Midway Baptist Church and worked for the Springfield Police Department. Mostly June was a homemaker who followed her husband’s military career. She was united in marriage in 1969 to her husband, Master Sergeant, Ernest Foster, Jr., USAF, ret., who preceded her in death. June is also preceded in death by her sons Dave Grant & Kenny Foster , her daughters, Linda Christman and Terri Utech, a sister and three brothers. She is survived by her children, Katie (James) Foster-Gaff of Panama City, Elisabeth Carol Foster of Mobile, AL, John Foster of Panama City and Tori (Eric) Pugh of Montgomery, AL. She is also survived by her, six brothers, four sisters, eleven grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and her devoted pet dog, Sophie. Friends will be received Monday from 6-8 pm at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home where a Celebration of Life service will take place 11 am Tuesday. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
