WYNEMA TAGGART

Wynema Taggart, 86, of Panama City, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018. She was born in Round Timber, TX, and had lived in Panama City for the last 20 years. Wynema retired after 20+ years as an executive secretary in Civil Service and then worked at Bay Engineering for 10+ years. She loved dancing, music, and playing her piano.Wynema was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Avron Taggart.

Wynema is survived by her children, Deirdre (Larry) Ross of Colorado Springs, CO, Suzanne (Joe) Cerney of Oklahoma City, OK, Terry (Kirk) Greek of Panama City and Bud (Monica) Taggart of Locust Grove, GA; her sisters, Bea Davey of Burkburnett, TX and Dena Price of Randlette, OK; as well as her twelve grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received Friday, March 9, 2018, from 5-8 pm at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place 2 pm Saturday at Messiah Lutheran Church with entombment to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Wynema’s memory to Messiah Lutheran Church.
