Nettie Jean Foster

Nettie Jean Spikes Foster, 84, passed away on October 19, 2017, in Valdosta, GA. Wife of 67 years to Hilton Foster. Mother of Ann Foster Webb, Janet Foster, Angela Foster (Tony), Russell Foster, and Gaylette Richerson Foster; grandmother of Karen Webb Dawson (David), John Webb, Philip Foster (Julie Wilson), and Samantha Hester; great-grandmother of Ryan, Megan and Braden Dawson, and Gavin Webb; sister, Johnnie Spikes Kelly (Harold); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillie Mae Messer Spikes, brother, Lance Spikes, and son-in-law, Thomas Webb. Services will be held on Monday, October 23, 2017, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 2403 Harrison Avenue, Panama City, FL. Visitation will begin at 12 noon followed by the service at 1:00 pm. The internment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Following the internment, friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at the First Baptist Church of Lynn Haven social hall, 1005 Ohio Avenue, Lynn Haven, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the First Assembly of God Church Building Fund, 1005 West Gordon Avenue, Valdosta, GA 31601.
