William "Bubba" Hansen

William “Bubba” Hansen, 65, of Panama City Beach, Florida passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017.

William was a lifelong resident of Bay County, Florida. He served in U.S. Army during Vietnam War and was a commercial and charter boat captain for over 50 years. Bubba was an animal lover and lived to be on the water.

He is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Edith Hansen; brother Carl Hansen, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife Debra L. Moore Hansen; mother-in-law, Jo Ann Moore; brothers-in-law, Bobbie Moore (Ann) and James D. Moore; sister-in-law, Grace Hansen; nephew, Paul Hansen (Amy); niece, Jessica Martin (Damon); grandniece, Isabella Hansen; and grandnephew, Colton Martin.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Humane Society of Bay County.

Celebration of Life will be held 4:00 P.M. Monday, August 21, 2017 at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Gathering will be 3:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
