Robert Galt Schrader

Robert “Bob” G. Schrader, 88, of Panama City, Florida passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017.

Bob was a resident of Bay Point since 1991. He was active in many Bay Point committees, was a former Commodore of The Bay Point Yacht Club and a member of the Krew of Dominique Youx. Bob served in the USMC during WWII and the Korean War. Bob spent his career in education serving eight years as State Superintendent of Public Instruction for the state of Wyoming and retired as a professor from Western Kentucky University. He loved flying and sailing and was a devoted family man and loving husband.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Virginia Ann Schrader.

He is survived by his children Robert M. Schrader (Paula), Andrew G. Schrader, and Amy A. Ball (Charles); grandchildren Jennifer Schrader, Jesse Schrader (Stephanie), Julia Sparks (Bret), James Schrader (Rachel), Chaussy Ball, and Sharon Ball; great grandchildren Elizabeth Schrader, Robert Schrader, and Adeline Schrader.
