Suzanne Claussen

Suzanne Claussen, 69, of Panama City, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018.

She was born the daughter of Richard and Patsy Bartlett on December 7, 1948 in Bloomington, Indiana.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude at Hanover College, Hanover, Indiana in 1971 where she was a Member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority

Suzanne was very active in her community. She served at Messiah Lutheran Preschool as Director, the Panama City Junior Women’s Club, First United Methodist Church where she was an active musician in church choir, as well as Bay High Band Boosters

Her interest included reading, music (flute and piano), quilting and sewing, decorating, running, hiking, and swimming.

She is survived by parents, Richard Bartlett and Patsy Hansen Bartlett, her husband, Dr. Peter B. Claussen, children; Neil Claussen, Eric Claussen, Grant Claussen, and Craig Claussen, sisters; Nancy Behrmann and Janet Caudill, and grandchildren; Rory Claussen, Spencer Claussen, Sadie Claussen, Ella Claussen.

A celebration of Suzanne’s life will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at First United Methodist Church of Panama City.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
